UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT #210 QUESTION SUBMITTED

Shall the following be adopted?

Shall USD #210, Stevens County, Kansas(Hugoton), issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $21,000,000, to pay a portion of the estimated 22,857,000 costs to : (i) construct, furnish and equip a new Early Childhood Development Center, including a FEMA/tornado shelter, within the District; (ii) construct, furnish and a new middle school facility with classrooms, labs, library and other support spaces at the existing middle/high school campus within the District; (iii) construct, furnish and equip an addition to create a new entrance for security purposes, new cafeteria/commons area, kitchen, high school administration area, other support spaces and a connecting corridor at the existing middle/high school campus within the District; (iv) construct, furnish and equip an addition to the existing high school to create physical education improvements including a PE classroom, wrestling area/FEMA tornado shelter, weight room, locker rooms and other support spaces; (v) demolish the existing middle school classroom wing and the existing grounds and maintenance facility; (vi) renovate the existing wrestling facility for use as a grounds and maintenance facility; (vii) make improvements to the existing administration area in the high school to convert this space for other educational uses; and (viii) make all other improvements appurtenant thereto; all pursuant to the provisions of K.S.A. 25-2018(f); and K.S.A. 72-6761?  The balance of the costs shall be paid form available capital outlay funds of the District
